After her mother’s death and years of mistreatment by her stepmother, Ogenrwot Brenda left her father’s home to be raised by her impoverished aunt. Although she was not able to attend school herself, Brenda is now using a portion of the money that she earns at KK Uganda to fund her niece’s education. She is also supporting herself and her family and hopes to use the money that she saves to fund her own education in the future.
