After losing both of her parents at a young age, Ober Florence was forced into marriage when she was just 14 years old. She now has seven children of her own to feed, a task which has thus far proved to be nearly impossible. Working as a crocheter for KK Uganda has allowed Florence to provide housing, food and medical care for herself and her children. She believes that working on the compound and sharing ideas with the other women has made her more confident and has greatly improved her social wellbeing.
DREAMS FOR THE FUTURE
“My dream is to educate my children and also start up a small business.”
“To love someone is to give willingly to that person without hesitation, complaint or regret.”
MESSAGE TO KK intl.
“My message to KK intl. is that they should continue to support the vulnerable women of Northern Uganda. I am so grateful for their support and what they are doing in our lives.”
