Lamaro Faith’s father died when she was very young, leaving her with no choice but to begin work as a child to help her mother support the family. She married when she was 17 in hopes of finding salvation from her desperation, but she immediately was forced to be the breadwinner for her home and lost her first child, which send her into a deep depression. Working at KK Uganda has allowed Faith the opportunity to bond and recover with other women and also to support herself and her aging mother.
