Although Evalyn never attended school, she grew up in a happy and loving home. However, the war in northern Uganda made life a lot more difficult. Her family hid at night from the rebels and relied on government programs for food. Two of her brothers were abducted and are still missing to this day. Despite the difficulty she faced during war, she continues to work hard and stay positive while working for KK Uganda. She wants to contribute to the general welfare of her home.
