When she was young, Apiyo Agnes dropped out of school and started working to help support her family. She later brewed beer to sell to support herself and her mother, but this never proved to be fruitful enough. As a beneficiary for KK Uganda, Agnes does not worry about bringing home a consistent amount of money so that she and her family can live comfortably and without fear. She hopes to build a home for herself and her children so that they can settle and work toward their bright futures.
