Despite Amono Kevin’s struggles, she has maintained such a positive outlook on life. She was brought up by her single mother, and she is one of six children, however three of her siblings passed away. Kevin is thankful for the way her mother instilled good morals despite their lack of resources, and the violence that surrounded them during the war. Eventually the hard times forced Kevin to drop out of school and take refuge at her uncle’s home in the town. There, she found a husband and eventually had two children. Kevin describes KNOWN SUPPLY as a “golden opportunity” and is now able to share household responsibilities with her husband, as well as pay school fees for her children.
