Irene was the first-born of 6 children. Losing her mother at the age of 13, she was forced into a motherhood role early in life. Years later, she became pregnant and wanted to prepare to bring her own children into the world. Irene went in search of a skill that would give her the means to support her family. She found knitting and now works at KNOWN SUPPLY and is using her consistent income to empower her family.
