As a child, Akullu Florence was forced to stop attending school because she lacked consistent transportation to and from her school. Her lack of education left her with little options, leading her to marry at the age of sixteen. Once the war hit, Florence and her family faced many hardships due to lack of resources. Today, she is saving money to provide for a better life than she had for her children.
