During the war in Northern Uganda, she witnessed troubling situations that directly affected Josephine and her family. Occasionally during the war, she had to sleep in hideouts due to the fear of being abducted. After becoming a beneficiary of KK Uganda, she has fewer worries and is now saving to buy a plot of land.
