After Margaret’s parents passed away, she was sent to be raised by her grandmother. Her grandmother was a farmer that cared for many of her grandchildren. With little money and no food, life was difficult. At the age of 14, Margaret was abducted by the rebels but was released one month later. After finding out about the KK Uganda program through her pastor, Margaret was determined to become a part of it. As she works for KK Uganda, she is earning a stable income so that she is able to plan for her family’s future.
